PDF AI

AI tools for PDFs

These tools use the AI you pick: a model downloaded once that runs in this browser, so documents stay on your computer, or your own key from a provider such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, in which case the text goes from your browser straight to that provider. Page citations are checked against the words on the cited page and corrected or removed when they don’t match. A few need no AI model at all, including Compare PDFs, Read PDF aloud and the table finding in Extract tables from PDF.

  1. Set up AI once: download a model in On-device AI models, or connect your API key in Chat with PDF.
  2. Open a tool and choose one or more PDFs.
  3. Check the cited pages, then download the result.
