Convert Excel to PDF
Each visible sheet is printed as a table with row numbers and column letters, so a reader can still find cell C12. Formulas show the value they had when the file was last saved, and dates, percentages and thousands separators keep their format. Charts, comments, headers and footers are left out, and an old .xls file has to be resaved as .xlsx before it can be converted.
- Choose an .xlsx or .ods file; hidden sheets are left out.
- Select Convert to PDF.
- Download the PDF and check that wide sheets split where you expect.
