Word to PDF

Convert Word to PDF

The conversion happens on your computer rather than on a server, and keeps paragraph styles, bold and italic text, lists, tables with merged cells, pictures with their alt text, and links. Text is set in standard PDF fonts, so lines and pages can break in slightly different places, and anything made of charts or drawn shapes is skipped, as are headers and footers. Open older .doc files in Word and save them as .docx first.

  1. Choose a .docx or .odt file.
  2. Select Convert to PDF; a list under the result names anything that was skipped.
  3. Download the PDF and check the page breaks before you send it.
