Compress PDF

Compress a PDF

Compression turns every page into an image, which suits scans and picture-heavy files, but the text stops being selectable and links, forms and signatures are lost. Smallest file, Balanced and Best quality set how hard images are squeezed, and Standard, Sharper and Sharpest set their resolution. If the result comes out bigger, superPDF tells you to keep the original.

  1. Choose a PDF.
  2. Pick an image quality and a resolution; Balanced and Standard suit most files.
  3. Select Compress PDF, compare the two sizes, and download if it is smaller.
