Enhance scanned PDF
Raise the contrast for washed-out copies, use grayscale to drop a tinted paper background, or choose black and white for the sharpest text and often a much smaller file. In black and white mode, the threshold decides how dark a pixel must be to stay black. Adjusted pages are saved as images, so run OCR PDF afterwards if you need to search them.

- Set brightness, contrast and colour mode, plus the threshold for black and white.
- Select Adjust pages and download the cleaner PDF.
