Before sharing a file, it helps to know what it gives away, such as an author name or the program that created it. This tool reads those properties along with the page count, paper sizes such as A4 or Letter, and the names of any form fields, without changing the file. To strip the properties, use Redact PDF or the Remove metadata option in Batch PDF processing.
- Choose a PDF.
- Select Inspect metadata.
- Read the details on screen, or download them as a .json file.
