Redact a PDF
A black rectangle drawn in most editors leaves the text underneath, ready to copy. Here each marked page is rebuilt as a picture with your boxes filled in, so the hidden words are really gone, and bookmarks or form fields that repeat them are cleared as well. superPDF checks that no text is left on those pages before it offers the download.
- Choose a PDF, say whether its title, author and other details should go, and select Redact pages.
- Draw a box over each thing to remove, page by page.
- Select Redact, download and check the result; run OCR PDF if those pages must be searchable.
