Assembly agent

Build a document packet from instructions.

Builds a document packet from your instructions, such as merge these with the cover letter first and number the pages, and proposes each step for you to approve.

How to use it

  1. Open Assembly agent. The first time, connect your own API key or download a model for this device (see Which AI plans the steps).
  2. Write what the packet should be, then tick the documents in the order you want them (they become D1, D2…). Use Add PDFs to add files; they are saved in My documents.
  3. Select Plan steps. Check each step’s preview, then Approve, Edit, Skip or Stop run. The packet is added to My documents.

Output

The packet as a new PDF in My documents. A step that changes one of your documents, such as rotating its pages, saves a new version of it that you can undo.

Which AI plans the steps

Agents use the AI you choose for Chat with PDF: your own API key with a provider such as Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic, or a model downloaded to this browser in On-device AI models. With your key, your request, the document names and the first few hundred characters of each page go from this browser straight to that provider to plan; superPDF never receives them. With a model on this device, nothing leaves it. Large provider models plan more reliably than small on-device ones.

What it can do

Merge documents in order, take only some of their pages, reorder or rotate pages, add page numbers, a watermark or a stamp, set the document properties, and remove pages (only when you ask for it). Later steps can work on the merged PDF: the plan calls it the result of that step, such as S1.

Safety

Agents choose only from superPDF’s own operations, with settings superPDF checks before you see them. Text inside your documents is treated as data, never as instructions; see Approve agent actions.

Limits

superPDF sets no file size or page limit.

AI can be wrong, so check the result before you rely on it.

Privacy

Document operations run in your browser. Planning uses the AI you choose: with a model on this device, nothing leaves it; with your own API key, your request, the document names and some page text go from your browser straight to your provider, never through superPDF. See Privacy: AI features.
