Editing agent

Turn written requests into reviewable edits.

Turns written requests into edits of the documents you choose, saving each change as a new version that you can undo.

How to use it

  1. Open Editing agent and set up the AI if you haven’t (your API key or a model on this device).
  2. Describe the edits, such as rotate page 2, fix the typo “recieve” on page 1 and set the title to Site survey, and choose the documents.
  3. Select Plan steps, then approve, edit or skip each step. Removing pages asks you to confirm a second time.

Output

The same documents, changed step by step, with every earlier version kept in Version history.

What it can do

Rotate, reorder or delete pages, add page numbers, labels, watermarks or stamps, set document properties, replace a phrase on a page, flatten form fields and run OCR on scanned pages.

Text edits

Changing text works like Edit PDF: the old text is covered and the new text is drawn on top in the closest standard font, in black on white. The old text stays in the file, where search and copying can still find it; redact it if it must be gone. A phrase split across lines can’t be changed this way.

Versions and undo

Every applied step saves the document’s previous version in its revision history. Undo a step from Agent history & undo. superPDF keeps up to 10 versions per document, so a long run can push out older versions.

Limits

superPDF sets no file size or page limit.

AI can be wrong, so check the result before you rely on it.

Privacy

Document operations run in your browser. Planning uses the AI you choose: with a model on this device, nothing leaves it; with your own API key, your request, the document names and some page text go from your browser straight to your provider, never through superPDF. See Privacy: AI features.
