AI form filler
Use document content to complete forms.
Fills in a fillable PDF form from your documents or notes, after you review the value proposed for every field.
How to use it
- Set up AI once in Chat with PDF: connect your own API key, or download a model to this device.
- Choose the fillable form, then the source documents, or type notes, or both.
- Select Propose values. Review each field: select a page reference to see where its value comes from, or Show on the form to see the field itself. Change, clear or accept each value.
- Select Fill. Tick Flatten the form first if the values must not be changed afterwards. Download the filled form.

Output
The filled form as a PDF named after the original with -filled added. It stays editable unless you chose to flatten it.
Nothing is filled without you
The proposals are only proposals until you select Fill. Fields you leave empty keep whatever the form already holds. A check box is ticked only when the sources clearly say so, and a choice field takes only one of the form’s own options. A proposed value that superPDF can’t find in your documents or notes is left empty, with the AI’s suggestion shown beside it.
Fields
Text fields, check boxes, drop-down lists, list boxes and radio buttons are filled. Read-only fields, signature fields and buttons are listed but not changed; sign with Fill & sign. The filled form stays editable, so you can change any value in a PDF reader, unless you flatten it. Values in scripts the standard form font can’t draw (such as Greek or Chinese) are left for the PDF reader to draw, and such a form can’t be flattened. Up to 120 fields are proposed at a time.
Where your information goes
With your API key, the text of your source documents, your notes and the form’s field labels go from your browser to your provider. With a model on this device, nothing leaves it. The form itself is filled in your browser.
Limits
superPDF sets no file size or page limit. Field labels are read from the text next to or above each field, which works for most forms; where it doesn’t, the field’s tooltip or internal name is used. Values that must be worked out, such as an age from a date of birth, are marked as not found. Check the filled form before you send it.
Scanned pages
Scanned pages, including copier scans whose text layer is weak or garbled, are read with the quick reader first (the AI tools run OCR PDF for you), so you get a result straight away. On computers that can run it, superPDF then offers high-accuracy reading beside the result, and improves those pages in the background: in Chat and Ask multiple PDFs the pages behind your latest question come first and new questions use the improved text; elsewhere, Run again with the improved text redoes the result. It runs on this device: nothing leaves it, and it works offline once downloaded. Download: 871 MB, once, only when you choose it; delete it any time in On-device AI models. Speed: about 10 to 30 seconds a page on a recent computer (the offer shows the time for your pages); up to 20 pages are read at a time unless you choose more or pick pages. It reads English and other European languages best; check results in other scripts, and like any OCR it can misread faded or handwritten text. Running page headers, footers and page numbers are left out of the text. If anything goes wrong, the quick result stays, with a short note. See High-accuracy reading.
