Output

A tagged PDF whose text, lists, tables and pictures screen readers can follow. Notes under the result list anything that could not be carried over.

What is kept

  • One page per slide, at the slide size.
  • Text boxes, bullets, pictures, tables and background colours where the slide puts them.

Limits

No file size or page limit. Everything runs on your device, so very large files are fastest on a computer. superPDF lays the file out itself instead of running PowerPoint, so the result is close but not identical. Fonts are replaced with the standard PDF fonts (Helvetica, Times and Courier), so lines and pages can break in different places. Charts, SmartArt and drawn shapes, speaker notes, animations, rotation, gradients and effects aren’t drawn. Pictures in formats the browser can’t read (such as EMF) appear as a labelled box. Characters outside the Latin alphabet (such as Greek, Cyrillic, Asian scripts and emoji) are replaced with “?”. Older .ppt files need saving as .pptx first.

Privacy
